Hello there and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am 57 year old woman who is transgendered. That is to say, I transitioned from male to female. I work full time as a professional administrator and lecturer in a large post secondary institution. I did my undergraduate degree in Economics, Law, with graduate degrees in Education and Law, specializing in International Trade Law. I lecture in both undergraduate and graduate programs.

I am a car enthusiast, loving my little sports car, and like to spend time in or on the water! I am a dive master and instruct discover scuba training sessions for new divers. My passion is everything H2O related. Time on a boat is my happy place for sure!

I also do speaking engagements about my experiences during transition, as a supporter of the LGBTQ community, as well as address audiences as a motivational speaker drawing on examples from my life.

This blogs chronicles my journey on virtually a daily basis starting in January 2015. My hope is that the information provided will assist those coming after me along this journey, hoping that they don’t make the same mistakes I did! While everyone’s journey is different, there are some commonalities, so if you can save yourself some time and pain by avoiding my mistakes, go for it! I know that there is really no manual for this, but don’t feel you have to re-invent the wheel either. Just make a better one!! : )
